CHRISTIAN BROADHURST, VICE PRESIDENT OF US DEVELOPMENT

Christian has led US development at Rare TV since 2016.

He is responsible for the creation of Rare TV’s aviation franchise on the Smithsonian Channel and serves as executive producer on both ‘Ice Airport Alaska’ (SE5) and its spin-off series, ‘Extreme Airport Africa’. He also oversees Rare TV’s Alaskan off-grid series ‘Life on The Edge’ (SE3) for the Outdoor Channel.

Other commissions include 'Egypt's Unexplained Files’ and 'Ancient Unexplained Files' for Discovery, 'Inside Mighty Machines’ for Smithsonian, 'Eyewitness D-Day' for National Geographic and ‘Ross Kemp: Searching for Michael Jacksons Zoo’ for ITV. 

Previously he worked at Raw Television, Arrow Media and Windfall Films where he helped win series commissions including Discovery Channels 'Railroad Alaska’ and 'Homestead Rescue’, and History Channels ‘Leepu and Pitbull’. His first ever broadcast commission was the BBC’s ‘The Man Who Can’t Stop Hiccuping’.
